Power Where You Need It: Kitchen Made Smarter at The Grove Rockwell

At The Grove by Rockwell, one of our clients wanted a more convenient and clutter-free kitchen workspace. With only a single fixed outlet in the cooking area, they were constantly limited in how they could place and use their kitchen appliances—especially during meal prep.

Video Highlights:

The Problem

The original setup in this modern kitchen featured just one wall socket placed to the side. This meant only one appliance could be plugged in at a time—making it a challenge when using multiple gadgets like an induction cooker, blender, or rice cooker. Extension cords were not only unsightly, but also a safety concern in a high-use cooking area.

The Solution

Our team installed the Mainline Power track system directly above the backsplash, across the cooking zone. This move gave the client the freedom to plug in multiple appliances at once, anywhere along the track. It also blends cleanly into the kitchen’s aesthetic with a modern, built-in look.

With moveable power sockets now in place, the client can power their induction cooker and other appliances simultaneously—without worrying about space, cable mess, or unplugging and switching devices.

The Results

The transformation speaks for itself. From a single fixed outlet to a flexible, accessible power system that adapts to the user’s needs. Not only does it enhance day-to-day kitchen tasks, but it also keeps the space looking streamlined and functional.
